WELCOME
The Creativity Award is a programme of visits and workshops from a professional artist who provides the tools to give primary school teachers and their students the joy of making things.
Creativity is a life skill. We provide a collection of exercises and games that promote creativity, wellbeing and resilience for students and give teachers an additional skill to help them generate engagement.
The process is a method of thought and planning used by professional creatives from the Arts and sciences. A process that is positive and fun that can help teachers bring energy and focus to their subjects.
Our 2024/25 schools include:
NEED A LITTLE SUPPORT?
Is your child anxious about attending school, missing home or upcoming tests? The Big Day Button might be just what they need.
Inspired by their year in the CA program, these two clever kids came up with a magic button. Together with their parents, they made it available to anyone who needs it.
Simply sew the button into a pocket or hem. Anytime your child needs comforting, they can rub the button, and all the love and comfort they need will flood to them.
The video will show you how.
The Big Day Button is available for FREE from the Creativity Academy. Just message us on our social media or email us at enquiries@creativityacademy.org.uk.
It’s also available on Etsy: etsy.com/bigdaybutton

EVERYBODY WINS
Last year we had hundreds of pictures, stories, poems, Lego builds, songs, cakes, crafts, dances, raps and sketches. We had entrepreneur’s selling home made jewellery. Our Treasure Chest Fund covered the cost of a professionally printed booklet which the children sold and made a profit from! The Big Day Button came into being. We put art work into schools and gave singers the opportunity to be recorded. The fun we can have is endless.
